When I moved to the United States in 2017, I had no doubts about continuing my Engineering career. The closest to what I found to what I was studying in UTN, Argentina, which was Electronics Engineering, was Electrical Engineering. Not knowing in what city my family and I would settle when we arrived to the US, I actually had no idea York College of Pennsylvania existed until I moved to York. I'm so glad I'm going to YCP since not only is the Electrical Engineering program exactly what I want to learn, but the small student body of Kinsley Engineering Center of YCP the is what I was used to and what I like. It's always great to be able to know your professors so well.
I am currently in my Junior year, getting through Signal Processing, Analog Circuits, Systems Modeling, Engineering Design and Music.
Starting in Spring of 2019, I was hired for a Work Study position for Kinsley Engineering Center's 3D printing lab and stockroom. I help students with 3D printing their parts for class projects, recommending changes to 3D models for the best printing setup.
This work study has given me numerous hours of practice with not only 3D printing, but familiarizing myself with many electronic devices and components.
